Last week, we received a generous gift from the Roden Masonic Lodge, based in Whitchurch.  Warden, Paul Radcliffe, along with Peter Robinson kindly donated a Creality Ender 3D printer to the design and technology department at Thomas Adams School.  They also kindly donated a kilo of white filament.  Alongside 4 other similar machines, the lodge produced almost 4000 face shields during April for local care homes who were crying out for help.

The lodge is named after the river Roden which flows through the town of Wem and is effectively the lodge’s home town.

Headteacher, Mark Cooper, along with Design and Technology staff accepted the generous gift last Wednesday and can’t wait to use the new equipment from September.
