When the first lockdown last March took hold, sixth former Adam wanted to make himself useful in his free time. He started doing his grandparent’s shopping and then thought he could help other people in the community whilst on his paper round. Throughout the pandemic, Adam would run errands, deliver shopping and walk dogs for people.

Adam’s help wasn’t going unnoticed and he was nominated for the High Sheriff of Shropshire Awards. Following the recent virtual ceremony, Adam has now proudly received his certificate in recognition of his commitment to citizenship and the wider community from the High Sheriff, Mrs Dean Harris.

Congratulations Adam!
