Thomas Adams Afternoon Tea Raises £2,000 for Charity

The final week of term ended on a high note at Thomas Adams School as students and staff came together for a fantastic Afternoon Tea fundraising event.

Held on Monday 20th July, the event was packed with activities and entertainment, including live music, football, space hopper races, games, side stalls, delicious cakes and a traditional picnic-style afternoon tea. The school grounds were filled with laughter, fun and a wonderful sense of community spirit.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended and supported the event, an amazing £2,000 was raised. The proceeds will be shared equally between two very deserving charities chosen by our student council, with £1,000 donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and £1,000 donated to Steps Charity Worldwide.

The event showcased the very best of the Thomas Adams community, with students and staff all playing their part in making the day such a memorable success.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who volunteered their time, baked cakes, organised activities, donated prizes and contributed in any way. Your support has made a real difference and will help both charities continue their important work.

As another successful school year comes to a close, the Afternoon Tea event provided a fitting celebration. Thank you once again to everyone who helped make the day so special.
