We are delighted to celebrate the success of former student Asha Parker-Wallace, who has been cast as Nala in Disney’s world-renowned musical, The Lion King.
Asha will take on this iconic leading role at the Lyceum Theatre in London’s West End from May 2026, starring alongside Posi Morakinyo as Simba.
This achievement marks a significant milestone in Asha’s career, with The Lion King remaining one of the most celebrated and longest-running productions in the West End. Since its premiere, the show has captivated audiences with its powerful storytelling, music and visual spectacle, making it one of the most sought-after productions for performers worldwide.
Asha’s casting is a testament to her talent, commitment and passion for the performing arts. We are incredibly proud to see her step into such a prestigious role and represent our alumni community on an international stage.
