Hello. Bonjour. Hallo. Hola. Ciao. Olá!
This year’s European Day of Languages was our best yet! Students across the school amazed us with their creativity and enthusiasm—especially those in Years 7 and 8. Every entry showed real effort and imagination, and the standard was exceptional.
Choosing winners was almost impossible. To make it fair, our Headteacher selected one overall winner for each year group, along with runners-up and highly commended entries.
Students who went above and beyond will join us on Friday for a small celebration. They’ll enjoy donuts and drinks while receiving certificates, vouchers, prizes, and praise postcards. A well-earned reward for their fantastic work!
This event is part of our ongoing effort to raise the profile of languages in school. We want every student to see how exciting and valuable learning languages can be—both inside and outside the classroom.
