Students Set Sail to Celebrate Creative Success

Last week, a group of lucky students enjoyed two canal boat trips as a reward for their creative work. The trips followed a house competition run in partnership with the Lyneal Trust.

Students were asked to design a logo for the Trust’s 40th anniversary or come up with a canal boat-themed slogan for their website. Judges chose winners and highly commended entries based on creativity and originality.

As a prize, the students boarded one of the Lyneal Trust’s accessible boats and cruised along the canal. The sun shone brightly on both days, making it a perfect spring outing. Students enjoyed the peaceful views and time with friends.

We’re proud of everyone who took part and thankful to the Lyneal Trust for giving our students such a memorable experience. The competition was a great way to celebrate creativity while supporting a fantastic local charity.

Lyneal Trust offers canal boat and cottage holidays and canal day trips in beautiful Shropshire for people with disabilities, illness or injury, or any other vulnerability and their family, friends and carers who may accompany them. For more information, please visit their website.
