Thomas Adams School Attends Prestigious Drapers’ Company Education Dinner
On Thursday, 20th March 2025, The Drapers’ Company hosted its annual Education Dinner at Drapers’ Hall in London. This event celebrates the Company’s commitment to education, including its connection with Thomas Adams School.
Headteacher Mr Mark Cooper attended with Sixth Form Head Students Lydia Laws and Rosie Allen. Julien Lightbourne, an Adams House Boarder, also joined them. They were accompanied by The 3-18 Education Trust CEO, Mr David O’Toole, and Assistant Head, Miss Rachael Bayliss. Former student and Sixth Form boarder, Yustnya Mozyl, attended as the Thomas Adams School 2024 Bursary Scholar. Drapers’ Governor, Mrs Jane Mather, also represented the school.
Guests enjoyed a three-course meal in the beautiful Drapers’ Hall. The evening featured inspiring speeches, including a keynote by the Master of the Drapers’ Company, Professor Morag Shiach. Other guest speakers shared valuable insights and experiences.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to meet professionals, educators, and leaders. The grand setting of Drapers’ Hall enhanced the evening, with the after-dinner speech highlighting the importance of the arts.
This annual dinner helps The Drapers’ Company strengthen ties with its network of schools, colleges, and universities. It fosters valuable connections and friendships. We are grateful to be part of this special occasion and look forward to continuing our relationship with The Drapers’ Company.
