Enhancing Academic Writing with James Friel
We were delighted to welcome James Friel from the Royal Literary Fund to our Sixth Form. James delivered a series of workshops with sixth formers currently studying A Level English Language, English Literature, and English Combined.
As a published author and experienced educator, James worked closely with our students to develop their academic essay writing skills. The sessions focused on structuring arguments effectively, refining critical thinking, and enhancing overall writing techniques—valuable skills that will support their success in both exams and further studies.
