A group of Key Stage 3 students attended a Girls’ Rugby Development Morning at Newport Rugby Club.
The girls joined a series of fun rugby sessions on the grass pitches. Coaches introduced basic skills and team activities. The focus was on confidence, teamwork and trying something new.
Students supported one another throughout the morning. A real highlight of the visit was the chance to see and have photographs taken with the Women’s Rugby World Cup Trophy.
The event gave students a great opportunity to be active, learn new skills and grow in confidence.
