A True Musical Fable of Broadway

On 17th and 18th October, Thomas Adams went back to 1950’s New York in their production of ‘Guys and Dolls’.

Staff and students had been working tirelessly on the show since May and after 5 months of hard work, the show was a huge success!

‘Guys and Dolls’ tells the story of a group of gamblers that look to find any place they can to run their illegal crap games. However, the influence of significant women in their life provokes them to think about how they live their life and look to change for the better.

Head of Drama, Conor Alexander says “The cast and crew were a delight to work with during the process of the production. As a group of staff, we would like to once again thank all students that participated in the production.”

“We would also like to extend our thanks to audience members that came and supported the show. Keep an eye and ear out for details of our next school production!”

After the performance, many of those who attended commented on a wonderful evening’s entertainment and how they really enjoyed the brilliant performance.

Headteacher, Mark Cooper, said “the whole show was a tremendous achievement for all involved. Thank you for the dedication and commitment of all the students and staff that made the show such a success”.
