We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of Year 12 student, Oliver Keers. He has been presented with the High Sheriff of Shropshire’s Outstanding Young Citizen Award at Shrewsbury College.
The awards ceremony took place on 17 March 2026. It was hosted at Shrewsbury College’s London Road Campus. The event welcomed over 100 attendees to Clayton Hall.
Now in its 20th year, the ceremony recognised 44 nominees and groups. It celebrated contributions from across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. These included volunteers, charities, emergency services and individuals who make a difference in their communities.
This award recognises young people who show outstanding commitment to their communities. Oliver is a very deserving recipient.
During his time at Thomas Adams, Oliver has shown excellent citizenship. He has taken part in a range of activities across school life. He has made a positive contribution throughout.
Oliver has been involved in music and fundraising initiatives. He has also shown a strong commitment to environmental awareness.
His dedication, compassion and proactive approach reflect the values we promote at Thomas Adams.
We congratulate Oliver on this fantastic achievement. We look forward to seeing all he continues to accomplish.
