Students and staff recently visited Roden Dogs Trust, where they were warmly welcomed by Helen and her team for an insightful and inspiring day.
During the visit, Miss Holland, Esmé and her Dad, WO1 Simpson, were given a tour of the site and learned more about the vital work carried out by Dogs Trust staff and dedicated volunteers. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of dog welfare, enrichment and stimulation, and the processes involved in ensuring dogs are kept safe, supported and successfully rehomed with loving families.
As part of the visit, the group were pleased to hand over the funds raised through a recent hamper raffle, supporting the charity’s ongoing work. Seeing first-hand the care, commitment and compassion shown to every dog was both educational and inspiring.
The school would like to thank Helen and the entire Roden Dogs Trust team for their time, hospitality and for the outstanding work they continue to do within the community.
