Lisbon Football Tour: A Week of Sport, Teamwork and Unforgettable Experiences
Our students have returned from an exciting and action-packed football tour in Lisbon, where they had the opportunity to develop their skills, compete internationally, and experience Portuguese football culture firsthand.
The tour kicked off with competitive matches against local Portuguese teams, where our students demonstrated great effort and sportsmanship. They also benefited from two professional coaching sessions delivered by Benfica’s academy coaches — a unique opportunity that left a lasting impression.
A highlight of the trip was the guided tour of the iconic Benfica Stadium. Students explored the stands, changing rooms, and walked in the footsteps of football legends, gaining insight into life as both a professional player and a passionate supporter.
Further matches saw the Girls team celebrate a fantastic win and the Boys A team secure a hard-fought draw. The Boys B and C teams showed commendable determination, narrowly missing out on victories in very competitive fixtures.
The tour concluded with a dynamic training and challenge session at Footlab, where students competed in a series of technical activities and enjoyed some friendly competition to round off the experience.
Throughout the trip, students were fully engaged, enthusiastic, and represented the school brilliantly.
