Thomas Adams students proudly represented the school at the NFL Flag Football National Championships, taking part in the biggest championship event in the competition’s history.
Although the results did not fall in our favour, the day provided an incredible opportunity to compete against some of the country’s top school teams, gain valuable experience and contribute to the continued growth of flag football.
Throughout the tournament, our students demonstrated determination, teamwork and resilience, with several standout individual performances. Toby crossed the line for some excellent touchdowns, Katie delivered a series of outstanding defensive plays, while Ben impressed with his skill, awareness and playmaking ability.
The experience extended beyond the competition itself, as students also had the opportunity to meet well-known NFL personalities Jason Bell, Neil Reynolds and Phoebe Schecter. Their enthusiasm for the sport and encouragement made an already memorable day even more special.
Taking part in a national event of this scale is a fantastic achievement and reflects the growing popularity of flag football across schools in the UK. The experience has provided our students with lasting memories, increased confidence and even greater enthusiasm for the sport.
