Staff and students at Thomas Adams School commemorated Remembrance and Armistice Day in many ways.

Year 10 Textiles students designed and produced a stunning collection of dresses inspired by Remembrance Day. The four dresses are now proudly on display in the school reception area.

Year 11 student, Oscar, represented the school at the Wem Remembrance service on Remembrance Sunday. Oscar laid a wreath on behalf of the school and read the names of the fallen from the Great War.

Finally, all staff and students from our school and sixth form community came together on Monday 11th November at 11am. Everyone observed a two minute silence, with one student Chloe May chosen to play the Last Post. Students belonging to the air and army cadets also dressed in full uniform.
