Last week, live theatre came to the Stanier Hall with over 80 Year 10 students in the audience.

The students were able to watch a live Royal Shakespeare Company broadcast of ‘Macbeth’.  Organised by Miss Black and the English department, the live performance will assist students in preparation for their literature exams later this year.

The broadcast starts with a live introduction.  The broadcast includes activities for students to help them engage with the production and get the most from the experience.  The play is broken down in to three parts, instead of the usual two.  Between each section, there is an opportunity for further activities to take place.

Finally, there is a live Q&A session with the actors.
