This December, our Sixth Form students have been actively involved in supporting the local community and spreading festive cheer beyond the school gates.
A series of fundraising events saw students organise a Christmas Jumper Day and cake sale, followed by the much-anticipated annual Quizmas Christmas Quiz on the final day of term. Together, these events raised an impressive £232.44 for Save the Children, reflecting the generosity and commitment of our school community.
In addition to fundraising, staff and students came together to support Whitchurch Food Bank, donating a full trolley of essential items to help those in need during the winter period.
Our Sixth Formers also took time to visit local community coffee mornings, where they handed out Christmas goodies, enjoyed conversations with residents, and even led a festive sing-along. These visits provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect with the community and share some seasonal joy.
We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students for demonstrating kindness, compassion, and a strong sense of social responsibility — values that extend far beyond the classroom.
