Students from Years 7 to 10 enjoyed three action-packed Sports Days, celebrating athletic achievement, teamwork and house spirit.

Across the three days, students competed in a wide range of events. These included inter-house field competitions in shot put, discus, javelin, long jump and triple jump. Students also took part in a badminton tournament, long-distance running and an exciting programme of track and field events.

The atmosphere throughout was fantastic. Students gave their all, supported one another and proudly represented their houses. From personal bests to close finishes, there were many memorable moments across the competition.

The celebrations concluded with a presentation recognising the achievements of both individuals and houses.

Congratulations to Hawkstone House, who secured an incredible double by winning both the 2026 House Cup and the 2026 Sports Cup. Well done to Head of House, Mr Alexander, and every Hawkstone student who contributed to this outstanding achievement.

Congratulations also to our Individual Athletes of the Year:

Year 9 Female Athlete: Lena K
Year 9 Male Athlete: Jacob B
Year 10 Female Athlete: Ellie R
Year 10 Male Athlete: Oscar H

These students demonstrated exceptional commitment, determination and sporting excellence throughout the competition.

A huge thank you goes to our dedicated PE Department for organising three successful Sports Days. We would also like to thank the many members of staff who supported events throughout the week and our Sixth Form students, whose help ensured each day ran smoothly.

Well done to every student who took part. Whether competing, cheering on teammates or helping behind the scenes, everyone played an important part in making Sports Days 2026 such a success.
