Thomas Adams School Council Leads Key Discussions on Fundraising and Student Voice
Last week, the Thomas Adams School Council met to tackle key topics and share ideas that shape school life.
Top of the agenda was planning for the Thomas Adams Afternoon Tea, our annual July fundraiser. Council members suggested a range of charities to support and discussed which causes would mean the most to our school community.
They also looked at how to spend the money raised from the popular Sponge A Teacher event. Students put forward ideas for school projects that would benefit everyone.
The council gave feedback on proposed updates to the Report Card. Their views will help guide the next stage of improvements.
Thanks to a suggestion from the previous council meeting, the school recently received new benches. These are now in place around the site. A big thank you to our Head Students who helped unpack and position them.
The School Council includes two students from every form group, across all year groups. Their ideas, energy, and leadership are helping to make real changes happen.
Well done to all involved for their thoughtful contributions and commitment to making a difference!
