This transition work is intended to prepare you for A level study. We would like you to work through the tasks listed.
You must bring your completed work with you on Wednesday 5th September, ready to demonstrate your understanding of the transition tasks in lessons. Teachers will test your knowledge and understanding of this work in class tests, the week beginning 17th September.

1 Create a presentation (in PowerPoint or Google Slides) to explain the difference between synchronous and asynchronous encryption. (Asynchronous encryption is also known as public key encryption).

The above youtube video can help you with the explanation, or you can choose another one. You can take screenshots of the illustrations but all of the written explanations must be in your own words. Use animations to make the presentation look nice. 

2 RSA is an example of public key encryption. Add to your presentation the example used in the above video as to how the maths in public key encryption works.
