Students and staff at Thomas Adams Sixth Form are celebrating another excellent set of A Level and BTEC grades, with over 20 subject areas achieving a 100% pass rate.  Many students are now looking forward to taking up their places at university or higher level apprenticeships, whilst others are moving into employment.

Delighted Headteacher, Mark Cooper, said, “We are absolutely thrilled, as these achievements are the result of a lot of hard work by both staff and students over the last two years.  I would like to congratulate the students and wish them every success as they move on to follow their ambitions.  Our students are embarking upon courses in subjects such as Law, Marine Biology, Astrophysics and Criminology at universities such as Durham, Leeds and Edinburgh.  Others are off to begin competitive apprenticeships.  There is such a wide variety of destinations, and there are many individual achievements at every level.”

Julie Squire, Key Stage 5 Manager, added, “I am really proud of our students, whose hard work and determination have resulted in wonderful personal achievements.”

Megan Hardiman (below) successfully achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, History and Politics.  Megan is going to Durham University to study Law.  Congratulations!
