On Friday 22nd November 2019, we held our fundraising day for BBC Children in Need.
To raise funds we had a non-uniform day and a cake sale at break time. All students were asked to contribute £1.50, and everyone received a wristband to wear that gives the message “TALK * LISTEN * SMILE”. The wristband reflects our chosen charities this year.
All money raised is to be divided between Children in Need and Young Minds. A decision made by members of the school council and ADA group members.
Thank you to everyone who donated and purchased cakes on the day – there was plenty on offer!
A special mention to Joseph Weaver in Year 7 for his fantastic Pudsey bear cake and to Mrs Clay’s form 9.3 for decorating lots of cakes!
This year we raised an incredible £1300.92! Fantastic!
