U15 Mixed Cricket Team Crowned Champions After Outstanding Tournament Performance

We are thrilled to announce that our U15 Mixed Cricket Team have been crowned tournament champions after an exceptional display of skill, teamwork and resilience at Shrewsbury Sports Village on Thursday 15th May.
The team secured victory in seven out of eight matches, demonstrating consistency and determination throughout a highly competitive day of cricket. Facing strong opposition, they delivered a series of impressive wins, including triumphs over Madeley Academy, New Road Academy, and Charlton School, as well as two wins against the Thomas Adams B team.
Each player rose to the occasion, showing not only technical ability but also outstanding sportsmanship and team spirit. Their performance is a testament to their hard work, commitment to training, and the strong camaraderie within the squad.
Mrs Ceri Kempster, Head of PE, praised the team’s effort, saying:
“To come away with seven wins from eight matches in a single day is an incredible achievement. Every member of the team gave their all, and it was inspiring to see how they supported one another throughout the competition.”
