Everyday Uniform
All Year Groups
Compulsory Items
- Blazer: Navy blue with the Thomas Adams School crest, available from School Shop Direct.
- Shirt: Plain white, long or short-sleeved, worn tucked in.
- Tie: School tie appropriate to the house group, available from School Shop Direct.
- Trousers: Charcoal grey, straight-leg tailored trousers.
- Skirt: Approved navy-grey inverted pleat skirt, knee-length, available from School Shop Direct.
- City Shorts: Charcoal grey, knee-length tailored shorts (optional).
- Socks: Grey or black, worn below the knee.
- Shoes: Plain black leather or leather-like material. No motifs or branding. Boots, trainers, and pumps are not permitted.
Optional Items
- Jumper: Navy blue V-neck with the school crest, to be worn under the blazer, available from School Shop Direct.
- Outdoor Coat: Plain and appropriate for school use. Hooded tops, tech fleeces, or cardigans are not acceptable substitutes.

PE Kit
- PE Polo Shirt: Navy blue with the school logo, available from School Shop Direct.
- PE Shorts: Navy blue with the school logo, available from School Shop Direct.
- Tracksuit Bottoms: Navy blue with the school logo (optional).
- Fleece or ¼ Zip Top: Navy blue with the school logo (optional).
- Socks: Blue football socks for football; white ankle socks for other activities.
Footwear
Training Shoes: Non-marking soles.
Football Boots: Required for certain activities; PE staff will provide guidance
Additional Equipment
- Shin Guards: Mandatory for team contact sports.
- Mouth Guard: Recommended for contact sports.
- Hair Bands: Students with long hair must tie it back during PE sessions.

Jewellery
Jewellery must be minimal. A single pair of small stud earrings is permitted, but no other facial or body piercings are allowed. Prohibited items include tongue piercings, eyebrow rings, nose studs, large earrings, heavy rings, and any visible necklaces.

Hairstyles should be neat and of a natural colour, as exaggerated styles or colours are not permitted. Haircuts must not be below a grade 2, and any lines or patterns shaved into the hair are not allowed. Furthermore, accessories such as bandanas are not permitted.

Make-up must be discreet and natural-looking. Nails should be a practical length, ending just above the fingertip; excessively long or false nails are not permitted. Tattoos must not be visible. Silicone tunnels, stretchers, or plug-style earrings are also not acceptable.

We’re currently accepting donations of good-quality uniform and PE kit items to help support our school community. If you have any outgrown or spare items, we would greatly appreciate your contributions! Any pre-loved uniform can be dropped off at the reception desk.
