Thomas Adams School is delighted to share a special message of thanks from Whitchurch Foodbank following our Christmas donations.

The Foodbank reported that thanks to the generosity of our students and school community, they received 51.6 kg of food from Sixth Form students and 29.5 kg from Lower School students. These donations played a vital role in delivering Christmas Food Parcels to over 77 local families (including 129 adults and 185 children), ensuring many children received not only festive meals but also a new toy each. In addition, the school also gave a £300 cash donation.

Pauline Stokes, Secretary to Whitchurch Foodbank, wrote:

“Never forget, that every item we receive makes a world of difference to someone in despair… MANY THANKS, YOU WONDERFUL YOUNG PEOPLE AT THOMAS ADAMS SCHOOL!!! Your support was truly appreciated!”

Though based in Whitchurch, the Foodbank was able to support families from surrounding areas including Market Drayton, Wem, Whixall, Prees, Higher Heath, Edge, and Malpas—demonstrating the real impact of our school community’s generosity.

We are proud of our students and families for contributing to such an important cause and helping make Christmas brighter for so many local families.
