Thomas Adams was delighted to welcome Year 5 pupils from local primary schools for its 2026 Taster Experience, providing an exciting introduction to secondary school life.
Over two enjoyable days, pupils took part in a variety of lessons across the school, including Music, Technology, PE and Art. The programme gave visitors the opportunity to explore new subjects, experience different learning environments and discover some of the opportunities available at Thomas Adams.
The taster experience was designed to help pupils build confidence ahead of their transition to secondary education while giving them the chance to meet staff, interact with current students and experience life at Thomas Adams first-hand.
A special thank you goes to our student ambassadors, who helped welcome visitors and shared their experiences of life at the school. Their enthusiasm and support helped create a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the event.
We hope all of the pupils enjoyed their visit and gained a valuable insight into life at Thomas Adams. We look forward to welcoming them back again in the future.
