Year 7 forms recently took to the stage in the Stanier Hall for the annual House Singing Competition. Each form performed a song they had practised together, showing creativity and teamwork. For some students, it was their first time performing in front of an audience, and they impressed everyone with their confidence.
Performances were full of energy. Some groups used props, and one student performed a solo. The Year 7s were also treated to a thrilling drum solo of Smells Like Teen Spirit by Year 12 sixth former Ollie Keers.
After an exciting morning of music, the results were announced. Third place went to 7.7, second to 7.6, and the winners were 7.3 with their performance of Count on Me by Bruno Mars. Their form tutor, Miss Devismes, and music teacher, Miss Arrowsmith, were absolutely delighted with their success.
Congratulations to all students for their fantastic performances!
