Thomas Adams School Admissions

The admissions policy is determined by Shropshire Council, which is the Admissions Authority for all Community and Voluntary Controlled schools in Shropshire.

Shropshire Council produces a booklet called “Parents’ Guide to Education” each year with up-to-date information about schools and a full explanation of the admissions processes. The booklets are available from the Admissions Team or can be accessed on the Shropshire website here.

Moving Up 2020

Year 6 > Year 7 Transition: We look forward to welcoming your child to Thomas Adams School. Please use the links below to access a range of documents and information regarding transition this year. These links will be updated regularly with a range of resources to assist Year 6 students and their parents/carers in making this important transition.

Parents’ Information Evening:  In light of the current situation, we are unable to have our usual Year 6 Parents’ Information Evening.  This normally takes place on the evening of induction day and all parents/carers are invited.  We recommend that you watch the pre-recorded video and hope that it will provide all the necessary information required.

Year 7 Induction Day: We are excited and delighted to confirm that our Year 7 Induction Day will be held on Wednesday 2nd September. We can’t wait to welcome your child at Thomas Adams!  Because of the ongoing pandemic, we will confirm full details to parents/carers during mid-August via post/text/email. Please also keep checking back for updates.
