Thomas Adams School
The Drapers’ Company
Founded in 1650 by Sir Thomas Adams, a former Master of the Drapers’ Company and Lord Mayor of London, our school has maintained a longstanding connection with this historic livery company. The Drapers’ Company has a centuries-old tradition of supporting education, and their ongoing involvement with our school is a testament to this commitment.
Nurturing Potential Since 1650
Their support includes:
- Governance: The Drapers’ Company nominates two governors to serve on our school’s governing body, contributing to the strategic direction and oversight of the school.
- Financial Contributions: In recent years, the Drapers’ Company has provided generous donations to enhance our facilities. Notably, they contributed £25,000 towards furnishings for a new state-of-the-art student support facility, demonstrating their dedication to improving the learning environment for our students.
This enduring partnership enriches our school’s educational offerings and upholds the vision of our founder, Sir Thomas Adams.
