Our students have demonstrated commitment, resilience and determination throughout their Sixth Form journey. They will now progress to a wide range of university courses, apprenticeships and career opportunities.

Notable Student Achievements

Freddie Nixon achieved A* in Politics, A in Religious Education and A in Graphics. Freddie will study Media Studies at the University of Brighton.

Lucy Arrowsmith achieved A* in Geography, A in Psychology and B in Mathematics. She will study Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University.

Caitlin Jones secured A* in English Literature, A in Film Studies and B in Sociology. She will progress to the University of St Andrews to study English and Film Studies.

Katie Green achieved A grades in History and Sociology alongside a B in Law. She will study Law at the University of Chester.

Becca Myers earned A grades in Geography and Psychology, alongside a B in Chemistry. She is heading to the University of Leeds to study Geography.

James Wright secured A grades in Biology and Chemistry and B grades in Mathematics and Physics. He will study Physics at Lancaster University.

Amy Burgess achieved Distinction* in Food and Nutrition, Distinction in Health and Social Care and an A in Psychology. She has secured a Food Industry Technical Professional Degree Apprenticeship with Harper Adams.

University Destinations

Students from this year’s cohort will study a diverse range of subjects including Biology, Physics, Psychology, Theology and Religion, Film Studies and Business Management.

They have secured places at prestigious institutions including:

St Andrews, Lancaster, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Keele, Bangor, Leeds and Warwick.

Apprenticeship Success

Several students have also secured highly competitive apprenticeship opportunities.

Eva Jackson will begin a prestigious apprenticeship with Northern Visions Television Station.

Ted Lawrence is pursuing his ambition of becoming a pilot and will begin professional training within the aviation industry.
